Evening Wedding Entertainment

The evening entertainent at your wedding is the final memory your guests will take with them when they leave. It's also the ONLY part of your wedding day that your evening guests can get involved in and enjoy, so it's absolutely vital that the entertainment is of the highest calibre.

After a perfect day, the evening reception is your opportunity to truly sit back and relax...the vows have been exchanged, the photographs have been taken, dinner has been served, and the speeches are over.

Now it's time for you to let your hair down and party with your guests! You've already given your guests a fantastic day - NOW it's time to give them a fantastic night!

You can relax and enjoy the fun, safe in the knowledge that the Something Borrowed band will be working tirelessly throughout the evening to create one of the most electrifying and exhilerating party's you and your guests are ever likely to experience!

This will be a night to remember - an evening everyone will still be talking about with delight for years to come.

That's our guarantee.

The party will typically begin at 8pm and finish at midnight. Here's our suggested schedule for your evening entertainment:

Schedule

THE FIRST DANCE
We introduce the bride and groom and invite them to take the floor for their wedding dance (we will learn your chosen song). We then invite the best man and best maid to join in, followed by the parents, and finally all other guests.

THE FIRST HALF OF THE EVENING
We play a variety of very well-known popular songs, guaranteed to fill the dance floor and create a lively party atmosphere. All the standards are included so we guarantee there will be something to suit EVERY guest of EVERY age - we even include a few special songs to encourage the children to show off their dancing skills and your guests will have a chance to get into the good old Scottish spirit with a couple of Ceilidh dances. The party then continues right up to the buffet break with non-stop, irresistable, dancing favourites.

BREAK FOR BUFFET/TEA & COFFEE
We will laise with the venue so that the music will break at exactly the same time the buffet/tea & coffee is served so you don't need to worry about a thing. During the buffet, we will put on relaxed background music to give your guests an opportunity to chat to each other as they enjoy a bite to eat.

THE SECOND HALF OF THE EVENING
It's party time! The mood and the tempo really steps up a gear with a combination of non-stop party hits from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, and current chart hits. This is one party no-one will want to end!

THE FINALE
We bring an exhilerating evening to a close with the bride and groom invited on to the centre of the dance floor, surrounded by all the guests. We encourage the whole audience to join in and sing Runrig's Loch Lomond as guests wish the bride and groom their best wishes for their future married life together.

With Something Borrowed, you are guaranteed a truly unforgettable evening of entertainment of the highest calibre. By the end of the evening, you and your guests will have experienced the most fabulous party imaginable - a night they'll be talking about for years to come. That's our promise to you.

Remember, a great day can be completely ruined by poor entertainment so...

Don't risk your guests leaving your wedding day
with dull memories of the most important day of your life!
